The Crocodile Hunter
ESPER investigates a locked room mystery after an outlaw biker is devoured in his home by a crocodile.
Only one of the psychics got picked in the playtest game. The other players chose to make their own Agents, and we ended up with Nigel, two AFP officers and a guy from Queensland animal control.
The players hit a lot of walls before finally figuring out that the crocodile had superpowers because it ate the wizard's body, which was a very satisfying revelation. Once they realized it was hunting the bikies for revenge, they had them all arrested (using the evidence of the crocodile body disposal) and used them as bait for the croc.
The beast proved more resilient than they anticipated, and the roomful of deputies with rifles were only able to wound it. Nigel grappled the monster, holding its mouth closed with his arms, and it teleported into the street, where both of them were hit by a passing car. Nigel died, and the croc was stunned long enough for the rest of the gang to pour out into the street and finish it off with a hail of gunfire.
