The Wedding of the Giantess Morwenna Session Two

 

Four adventurers woke up in the lakeside tavern with six days to spare before the tournament of the Giantess Morwenna.

Zigar had come to the region on unrelated business, but recognized Laguna Tempest from the adventures they shared in the Mountain of the Mad Marquis. Joining the Lute Bastards sounded like a great way to advance his own fortunes.

 

Pirate Borg - Buried in the Bahamas

Somewhere in the Dark Carribean, a pirate vessel struggled through a sudden storm in search of a forbidden island. Captain Bloodlash scanned the horizon - what he could see of it anyway - as his first mate Skagg struggled to keep the ship afloat through the foul weather.

Out of nowhere, an enormous galleon infested with skeletons burst out of a fifty foot wave, undead crew hurling grapnels and leaping aboard the floundering pirate ship. Battle was quickly joined. Amid the chaos, two pirates defended themselves as best they could from the skeletons.

• The dapper Brute Brutus, net in his hand and murder in his heart.
• The tattooed Buccaneer Bart, with his enchanted flintlock and cheap parrot.

Bart fired both weapons and was stunned by arcane feedback from his magic pistol, then clobbered by a skeleton ogre. Brutus had more success fending off the undead attackers, but nearly fell off the deck when the ship ran aground. The devil's own luck protected the brigands from instant death. Brutus grabbed the insensate Bart and a map that fluttered out of the Captain's grasp as an enormous timber pierced him through the heart. The Brute leaped clear of the whirlpool as the ship went down.

The border between the ruins of the Giant Kingdoms and the Commonwealth's frontier colonies. It was autumn, around the time the rain threatens to turn to snow. Four adventurers arrived at the blockhouse set up by the merchant Ishizaka the Genie to capitalize on the festivities soon to occur.

The festivities in question, advertised on an enormous billboard: a tournament, to be held in seven days. The prize: Morwenna's hand in marriage.

The Hot Lands. A field. Good soil, gentle hills overgrown with tangled and dried grapevines. In the center, the ruins of a villa and a farm. Built in the time of the Ancient Empire, briefly used as a convent after the original owners abandoned it. A thick tower, free standing and partially collapsed. On the other side of the ridge, a lake.

The wine grown in this estate was legendary. Conditions are still perfect for viticulture. People back home have an insatiable hunger for luxury goods from foreign lands. All you have to do is clean the place up and start growing.

The Spit. An archipelago of subpolar islands, lightly forested. The handful of mountains are covered with snow, the lowlands and rocky beaches are lashed with wind and rain.

 

A once-in-a-decade low tide has pulled the water far back from shore, revealing hidden things.

 

Unknown Armies: What You Hear

Avatar Conventions. It’s not always a Godwalker hunting and killing the competition. Some of these people know how to have a good time.

• The Outlaw Journalist convention in Macau, covering the Grand Prix. A lot of money changing hands, billionaires behaving badly. The mainland government is cracking down on reporters. The journos don’t call themselves outlaws because they follow the rules.
• The Wage Slave convention in Walcott, Iowa. Organized by Zardoz O’Cultist, who uses his avatar powers and job at the Ab Imbev warehouse to steal huge amounts of free beer for the event without getting caught.
